Who am I

I’m a New Zealand–trained nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition (minoring in Exercise and Sports Science), now based in Australia, with a strong focus on food education, wholefood nourishment, and long-term wellbeing. Alongside my formal studies, I’ve continued to build my understanding of digestive health through additional training in the gut microbiome, allowing me to approach gut-focused nutrition with nuance, evidence, and respect for individual variation.

My work is grounded in a nutrition-first approach — helping people understand how food, eating patterns, and lifestyle choices can support energy, digestion, and overall health. I’ve worked alongside naturopaths in a health shop setting, supporting clients with food-based guidance and general wellness education.

My focus is on nourishment over restriction, balance over extremes, and helping people fuel their bodies to feel good, not to chase aesthetic outcomes. I strongly believe that food should add to your life — not become something that controls it.

My interest in nutrition is also shaped by personal experience. From my mid-teens, I navigated ongoing digestive discomfort that was broadly labelled as “IBS,” despite limited answers. That experience exposed me early to restrictive diets and confusing health advice, and ultimately inspired me to learn more about the body, food, and digestion through a scientific and compassionate lens.

Today, I offer non-clinical, education-based nutrition guidance, supporting people who want to better understand food, nourish their bodies, and make sustainable choices that align with their individual needs. I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions — instead, my role is to guide, educate, and support alongside appropriate healthcare when needed.
